With less than a week to go until the end of the transfer window, clubs are starting to secure their homes to see out the remainder of the season.

Despite this season being unusually quiet, there remains a lot of speculation about where some of the sport’s biggest stars could be plying their trade in just a few weeks.

It is believed that clubs at both the top and bottom of the Premier League are preparing to fine-tune their squads for the second half of the season, with both Manchester City and Luton Town eyeing the market.

But some clubs may still be able to successfully retain their biggest stars during the short period, including Newcastle. They will be keen to see Bayern Munich drop their plans to sign centre-back Kieran Trippier amid the club’s financial worries.
