With less than a month before the January transfer window opens, goalkeepers are dominating the latest round of transfer rumours.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are both keeping an eye on Mike Maignan's future at AC Milan after negotiations over a new contract broke down.

Meanwhile, Newcastle will be looking for a new goalkeeper as Nick Pope's shoulder injury has robbed Eddie Howe of his first choice for months.

Mailsport exclusively reported on Monday that David de Gea was among the candidates to replace Pope at St James' Park, with Aaron Ramsdale also since linked with a move to Tyneside.

The Magpies are also increasing their interest in Kalvin Phillips, with the England international confident of leaving the Etihad in January.
