However, Spurs could face a battle to land their second signing as Bayern Munich look to hijack their deal for Genoa defender and Romanian international Radu Dragusin.

Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho is expected to return to Manchester United at the end of the season, even if he is loaned out to Borussia Dortmund this month as the Bundesliga club cannot afford a permanent contract.
