With less than a day until the January transfer window, clubs across the Premier League and across Europe are preparing for a busy month of negotiations.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Raphael Varane in January and could offload Mason Greenwood permanently as they look to raise money for new signings.

Elsewhere, Ange Postecoglou has turned a Serie A star into one of his key signings as he looks to strengthen his defensive options, which have been decimated by injuries this season.

Spurs are also keeping tabs on one of the most in-form strikers in the Premier League, while Kalvin Phillips' move to Juventus may not be as easy as expected.

Tottenham have made Genoa defender Radu Dragusin their top target as Ange Postecoglou looks to strengthen his defensive options. The Romanian international has already reached a verbal agreement with Spurs, who must now open talks with the Serie A club. (Fabrizio Romano)

Dragusin's agent has revealed that the 21-year-old is keen on a move to the Premier League, but insisted that 'several teams' were interested in the defender, who has featured in all 18 of Genoa's Serie A matches this season. (SportItalia – in Italian)
