The January transfer window is still just over a month away and a number of Premier League clubs will be busy this winter as they hope to strengthen already solid platforms or address key issues.

Arsenal are among the clubs looking to do business, with Mikel Arteta reportedly planning to overhaul his midfield in January and test Aston Villa’s resolve with a bid for Douglas Luiz.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have told Mauricio Pochettino he must sell if he wants to buy in January and Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou could be reunited with one of his former Celtic players.
