It’s been a very busy week in the transfer market, with Chelsea making headlines for finally ending their pursuit of Moises Caicedo, securing the Ecuadorian for a British record transfer fee and also signing a deal for Romeo Lavia yesterday.
In rather dramatic circumstances, both deals saw Mauricio Pochettino’s side snatch Caicedo and Lavia from Liverpool, who were keenly interested in signing both players.
The signings will bring Blues spending under new owner Todd Boehly to just under £1bn, with former Brighton star Caicedo signing for an eye-watering £115m after joining the club for just £4.5m last year. Seagulls came.
Despite missing out on the pair, Jurgen Klopp’s side jumped straight back into the market, confirming the signing of Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo yesterday. Elsewhere, West Ham are eyeing a move for Ajax’s superstar Mohamed Kudus, while Tottenham are “plotting a late flight for Jeremy Doku”.
This is where Mail Sport collects all the latest transfer information this Saturday morning.
