Trans woman who abused her own daughter, 7, in videos is being transferred to New Jersey Women’s Prison
A transgender female pedophile who filmed her seven-year-old daughter being sexually assaulted for horrific porn videos is being housed in a New Jersey women’s prison despite still having a penis, it is alleged.
Marina Volz, 34, is serving her 25-year sentence at the notorious Edna Mahan Correctional Facility with her accomplice Ashley Romero, 30, who participated in the girl’s abuse.
Born to a man named Matthew, Volz is now listed as a “female” on official prison records, and her presence in Edna Mahan is said to cause terror among biological women housed there.
Shockingly, Volz would even marry Romero so they could share a cell together, Reduxx reported, after the publication spoke to other inmates there.
Volz, Romero and two others were found guilty of sexually assaulting Volz’s daughter in the basement of her New Jersey home as part of a scheme to make adult films.
Volz, who ran a transgender fetish porn studio, took the youngster from her mother’s home in Oregon, then brought her back to New Jersey, where she was subjected to horrific sexual abuse, the details of which are too graphic to repeat.

Following their sentencing in May 2022, Reduxx reported that Romero was sent to live with Edna Mahan, but that Volz was initially processed as a man and placed in the South Woods State Prison for men.
Two months later, Volz was reportedly transferred to Edna Mahan, but was still registered as a male prisoner in the records of the Department of Corrections.
Last April, two Edna Mahan inmates became pregnant after having consensual sex with transgender inmates. It now houses about 30 transgender prisoners and more than 800 women.
The prison first began accepting transgender women in 2021, shortly after a settlement following a lawsuit filed by a trans woman and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of New Jersey.
Soon after, two Edna Mahan inmates filed a lawsuit to have the gender identity policy revoked after allegedly being harassed by transgender inmates.
Critics of the ACLU settlement claim the measure was yet another burden on a state prison that has faced reports of abuse and rape by guards over the past decade.
In June 2021, Governor Philip D. Murphy announced he would close the prison after the Justice Department found it violates the constitutional rights of inmates by failing to protect them from staff sexual abuse.
In September, 14 guards in Edna Mahan were charged over a 2021 raid that seriously injured two women.
Last year, two Edna Mahan inmates became pregnant after having consensual sex with at least one transgender inmate, the Department of Corrections said.

Volz, formerly Matthew Volz, was sentenced last May in Somerset County Superior Court alongside Romero, formerly Adam Romero, and two others, Sean Allen, 54, and Dulcinea Gnecco, 21.
According to acting prosecutor Annmarie Taggart, Volz ran a “family business for the production of transgender pornography specializing in amateur content, bdsm and taboo fetishes” out of her Coburn Lane home in Franklin Township, where she allowed her accomplices to sexually assault her young daughter.
The involvement of all four defendants was made clear in a series of group messages in which they discussed their plans to abuse Volz’s child.
Somerset County assistant district attorney Brian Stack told Judge Peter Tober at sentencing that the four orchestrated a “vortex of darkness” that “quenched” the young girl, adding that the group was “incapable of redemption” and ” had not accepted full responsibility’.
Tober said the crime was said’horrific, cruel and depraved,” and said the child was abused using a cellar cage and other torture devices.
The judge sentenced Volz and Romero to 25 years without parole, while Allen and Gnecco received 12 and five years, respectively.
An investigation by the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit of the Somerset County District Attorney’s Office found that Volz managed to gain custody of the child in 2018, before taking her from her mother’s West Coast home to New Jersey.

Once in captivity, the young girl was subjected to sexual abuse and filmed on multiple electronic devices.
Investigators who raided the property one night after taking custody of the child following an anonymous tip in January 2019 discovered more than 30 computers, cameras and digital storage devices containing extensive evidence of child pornography and sexual abuse.
They also discovered firearms, a high-capacity magazine and cocaine, according to The daily voice.
Anthony Cowell, Volz’s public defender, confirmed that the child was adopted by relatives and added that his client had waived all parental rights.
“She will never see her child again… I can’t get my head around what happened in this case,” he said, adding that the evidence was “some of the worst images I’ve ever seen in my life.” according to My Central Jersey.
Cowell explained that Volz had no criminal record, had served in the United States military, and was not considered a violent sexual predator prior to the case.
The judge, meanwhile, said it will be years before the full extent of the psychological damage suffered by Volz’s daughter is known, stating that the girl had “suffered badly” at the hands of her captors.
He also stated that she herself had been sexually abused in her childhood and had attempted suicide several times.

All four defendants pleaded guilty in November 2021 to a range of charges including human trafficking, aggravated assault, making child pornography and possession of child pornography, as well as charges related to possession of firearms and high-capacity magazines.
Romero’s attorney insisted his client “has her head on the right track for redemption…there is hope for her.”
Allen, a US Navy veteran, said he was complicit in orchestrating the cross-country transportation of a minor for sexual gratification, and was also involved in the sexual assault.
Gnecco was given a reduced sentence, because the judge determined that she had not participated in the abuse of the child.
The 21-year-old acted as the child’s caretaker and, according to her attorney Jack Venturi, was primarily tasked with cooking and cleaning at Volz’s New Jersey home.
She eventually pleaded guilty to counts of endangering a child’s welfare.
Acting Prosecutor Taggart said the case exemplified the importance of reporting suspected child abuse, arguing that without the anonymous tip from a concerned community member, Volz and her accomplices might never have been brought to justice.
