Trans woman, 28, on the run after woman and man were found shot dead in a Washington City home

A manhunt has been launched for a transgender woman who police say killed a man and a woman in a Utah home.

Washington City Police are looking for Collin Troy Bailey, 28, who also goes by the name Mia Bailey, who is currently in transition.

Police said they were called to reports of shots fired at the home, and upon entry they found the two deceased adults, confirming they died from gunshot wounds.

No identities of the victims have been released.

The house where the victims were found shot to death is listed as Bailey’s home address, according to public records.

Also living there are Gail Bailey, 69, and her husband Joseph, 70, who appear to be Bailey’s parents, although police have yet to confirm they were the victims.

Bailey is the only suspect wanted by officers and is considered armed and dangerous.

She was seen fleeing the scene in a yellow 2014 Kia ​​Sol, with her current whereabouts unknown.

Police described Bailey as 6 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds and having brown hair, but he is known to wear wigs and change hairstyles frequently.

Gephardt Daily reported that police dispatches in the early hours of Wednesday morning indicated officers had located Bailey’s general area.

The outlet said they believed the suspect was on foot and officers were trying to contain the area while waiting for a SWAT team.

City police Lt. Kory Klotz said St. George News: ‘[Officers] did find two deceased victims – both adults, one female, one male.

“When they cleared the rest of the house, they found evidence of murder. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Klotz has asked that anyone who sees Bailey or her car, as seen here, not approach her for fear she may be carrying a small caliber handgun.

“(Her) last known location was on Washington Dam Road and Washington Fields Road. She is considered armed and dangerous.”
