A transgender pedophile is being held in isolation in a men’s prison because she is too dangerous for a women’s prison, reports say.

The child molester, formerly known as Mark Walker, is being held at HMP Frankland’s Category A male prison in County Durham.
Prison leaders have now decided that Walker would pose a risk if he were taken to a women’s prison. The sun reports.
Inmates are now said to be “furious” as they are reportedly being held in their cells for 45 minutes so that Walker can wash and eat alone.
A source said: ‘She should be treated like a woman but cannot be transferred to a women’s prison as she poses a risk.
“And since she is legally a woman, she must be kept separate from male prisoners.”
The Prison Service told The Sun: “Transgender inmates do not receive special treatment and have access to the same facilities as male inmates.”
