Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s relationship was TESTED to the max on The Traitors season 2 – here’s how the couple navigated being pitted against each other

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s relationship was put to the test in season 2 of The Traitors – with the lovebirds becoming the first couple ever to appear together on the Peacock reality show.

Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa, 49, has been dating Michael Jordan’s 33-year-old son since September 2022.

She recently sparked engagement rumors by repeatedly showing off a bejeweled band on her left ring finger while out in public with her other half, but the couple later confirmed that a proposal has not yet taken place.

In addition to being forced to rectify their relationship status, Larsa and Marcus’ romance was also tested in The Traitors, where they were immediately seen as a threat despite insisting they weren’t working together.

From the moment the new series The Traitors debuted, Larsa and Marcus made it clear that although they signed on to the show as a couple, they would play the game as individuals.

Larsa revealed in her confessional, “I feel like some people are intimidated because I play the game with my boyfriend.

“I think they think I have an advantage. We’re both here individually.’

She added: “It’s great that Marcus is here, but at the same time I want to win, and he wants to win. It’s not like we’re a team.’

“If it came down to it, we’d kill each other,” Marcus announced to his co-stars in the show’s very first episode.

Both players joined the show as Faithfuls, while Parvati Shallow, Phaedra Parks and Dan Gheesling have been sworn in as the Traitors.

After filming each day, Larsa and Marcus were separated by the production team and sent to separate rooms to sleep.

Fortunately for the couple, spending every evening apart from each other was not a problem and this did not affect the state of the relationship.

“Thank God we have a solid relationship because we weren’t dating at all,” Larsa told People.

But despite distancing themselves – both in terms of sleeping arrangements and gameplay – the couple was still seen as a threat and Marcus’ journey in The Traitors was rudely cut short when he was killed off in the show’s third episode.

After he was killed, he said in his confessional, “I feel like I was too much of a threat.

‘And I also think people are jealous that I have my girlfriend Larsa here with me. They got me.’

“I have a feeling the Traitors knew Marcus was very influential,” Larsa added.

“He’s very smart and he was going to find out who those guys were.”

Larsa admitted that she believes her relationship has changed as a result of being on The Traitors

Larsa continued, “I’m going to work so hard to find out who these traitors are and banish them tonight. I’m focused on this.’

At the time of writing, reality star Larsa is still participating in the series.

However, after the show, she admitted that she believes her relationship has changed as a result of being on the show.

In an interview with People, she said, “We had to have this conversation and we basically said, ‘Hey, once we get to the castle, I’m Larsa and you’re Marcus and we’re not necessarily a duo. not anymore. You are on your own. I’m on my own.”

Larsa added, “I feel like we’re both growing individually, and this is our path.

‘And I think it’s great to experience this with someone you care about and at the same time be challenged in your relationship.’

The Traitors season 2 airs Thursdays at 6pm PST/9pm EST.
