Tragedy in Bankstown Central: Teen in coma after falling from parking lot

A young man clings to life with serious head injuries after a nighttime fall in the parking lot of a shopping center in south-west Sydney.
Emergency services rushed to the crime scene in Bankstown Central shortly before 10pm on Wednesday night after reports came in that the teen had been found injured.
It is understood the teen was running in the parking lot when he fell, suffering serious head and facial injuries.

Photos from the scene show the teen lying on a stretcher, surrounded by paramedics and other first responders providing first aid.
He was kept in an artificial coma and taken to Liverpool hospital in critical condition.
He is in a coma on Thursday while police launched an investigation.
“Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries,” a spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia.
“An 18-year-old man is assisting the police with an investigation.”
The shopping center is a busy complex with more than 300 shops.
