A man was found dead inside a tent on a popular beach on the Sunshine Coast.
Police were called to Mooloolaba beach near Parkyn Parade just after 6am when the body was found in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police believe the man’s body was inside the store, perched on the sand dunes, for five days before a lifeguard discovered it.
The man is reported to be in his 60s.
