A six-month-old baby has died after ‘breathing problems’ while on holiday with her British parents in Antalya, Turkey.

The couple, who were staying in a five-star hotel in Serik, called emergency services on May 13 when their daughter started having trouble breathing.

Local media reported that despite the best efforts of hospital staff, the child could not be saved.

An investigation is underway at the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
