A bride-to-be has died after getting a boob job because she wanted to show off her cleavage in a low-cut wedding dress.
Beautician Alessia Neboso, 21, from Italy, was planning to marry her long-time boyfriend Mario Lucchesi.
But just days after breast implant surgery, Alessia started feeling unwell. The 21-year-old developed a high fever, fatigue, coughing, weakness and gastrointestinal problems.
After her condition worsened, her family took her to the emergency room of the Villa dei Fiori clinic in Acerra, near Naples, Italy.
By the time she was admitted on September 20, her condition was critical.

Dr. Feliciano Ciccarelli told local media: ‘The colleagues on duty immediately understood that the situation was very serious.
‘Her functional indicators had all changed; her kidneys were already failing, her white blood cell count was 17,000 and she was starting to have trouble breathing.’
The normal range for white blood cell counts is usually between 4,000 and 11,000 per microliter.
Dr. Ciccarelli continued, “We put her through every possible test. We wanted to understand where the sepsis was localized.
‘We did an ultrasound and a CT scan of the abdomen, and another CT scan of the chest, from which we understood that the problem came from the lungs.’
Alessia was stabilized and taken to the ICU.
Despite efforts by medics to keep her alive, she died of cardiac arrest a few hours later.

A close friend, who chose to remain anonymous, told local media: ‘Her dream was to get married in a beautiful low-cut dress that would emphasize her new cleavage.
‘Alessia always had a complex about her small breasts, even though they weren’t actually that small: in my opinion they were almost perfect.
‘But she didn’t want to listen to advice and had decided to have it done; she didn’t care what others said.
“She wouldn’t even listen to her boyfriend; he was not in favor of it either.
‘When she came to my house for a manicure, she talked about nothing else and was very happy that she had found the courage to go to the surgeon.’

Alessia had decided to enlarge her breasts a few sizes in a clinic specialized in plastic surgery.
She first went there for routine tests before returning for surgery on September 11, and was discharged the same day.
Dr. Ciccarelli said, “She was doing well until the 18th.
‘The first discomforts came that evening and continued the next morning.
‘Then it progressively worsened until the 20th, when she arrived at the clinic in critical condition and in ‘code red’.’

Mario posted on social media: ‘I love you Alè, no one will ever be able to take your place. You will be my wife forever!’

Her parents told local media: “If there are liabilities, they must be exposed. If Alessia died because of the doctors, we want justice.
‘She did great, she was beautiful, young and healthy. They have to tell us what happened in that operating room.”
Former neighbor Francesca, 65, told local media: ‘On Sunday she was due to attend the christening of her niece, her sister’s daughter who bore her name.
“She was overjoyed and now she can’t hold that little girl in her arms anymore.”
Mario wrote on social media earlier today: ‘I love you Alè, no one will ever be able to take your place. You will be my wife forever!
‘You are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me. I will not pity anyone until justice is done.
‘You will always be in my heart and in the hearts of your family. I love you so much.’
