The wife of an Australian trader has revealed how she deviously convinced a customer to pay an overdue invoice.
The tradie called and texted the customer but never got a response, so he asked his wife for help.
She received a response within minutes after messaging her pretending to be his affair partner. He paid that same afternoon.
The tactic left hundreds of stings after she shared the conversation with a popular Facebook group.
“I called the guy and he didn’t answer, so I sent this text and he called me within two minutes of me sending it. We got paid the same afternoon haha,” the woman wrote.

After just two minutes, the customer texted back: “Get paid now. Will send a transfer.’
The woman responded with a simple “Thank you.”
