Shocking footage has captured the moment when a tradie suddenly braked their car, causing a car to crash into the rear of the vehicle.
The crash and subsequent confrontation between the two men took place on the Pacific Highway in Greenwich, on Sydney’s lower north coast, on Monday afternoon.
Dashcam footage of the driver of the car that hit the ute was shared on Facebook with footage showing the drivers engaged in a heated argument.
The video shows a driver standing still at a green traffic light on the busy road.
Moments later, a trader in a car is heard honking behind the man.

The driver leaves at the traffic light while the tradie continues to beep him.
The tradie continues to overtake the car and change lanes in an attempt to get ahead of the other driver.
He then steps on the brakes with his foot as the two vehicles are extremely close together.
The sudden braking causes the driver to end the ute backwards, with the vehicle’s bucket scraping the car’s hood.
Two traffickers get out and walk to the dashcam driver’s vehicle, the driver throwing his arms in the air in frustration.
“I can’t believe you did that, mate. Why did you do that? (sic)’ you hear the driver say as the two men approach him.
“You didn’t give me time to stop, man.”
The excited tradie reaches the car door and demands that the dash cam driver hand over his driver’s license before the driver tells him to ‘stop yelling’.
The driver applies his handbrake and takes a deep breath before the clip ends.

Social media users praised the driver for his calm response to the tense situation while blowing up the tradition.
‘Well done for staying so calm! I couldn’t possibly have walked away without tearing into this knob,” said one.
“Congratulations to the dashcam driver for staying so calm,” another wrote.
A third added, “Dash Cam karma at its finest…Would like to know the outcome of the insurance company on this!!”
Others commented that the man was “lucky” to have a dash cam to record the reckless act and that his insurance company would “love to see” the footage.
