A tradie has admitted kidnapping a nine-year-old girl as she walked to primary school, assaulting her and leaving her tied up outside the IGA.
Ryan Ashley Darken, 38, lured the girl to his silver ute in Warnbro, south of Perth, as she walked to school about 8.25am on July 21.
He then attacked her before leaving her outside a supermarket with her hands tied with cable ties.

Darken, who was wearing his hi-vis work clothes at the time, was later arrested after police swarmed the area.
On Friday he pleaded guilty to deprivation of liberty, detaining another with the intent to prevent or hinder a person from performing an act and making a threat to perform an act unlawfully. Western Australian reported.
The victim’s family cried as he confessed to the facts via video link from Hakea prison.
Darken also faces two drug charges for which he has yet to enter a plea.
He will be sentenced in January.
