Miracle escape in Sydney’s west as out-of-control car ploughs through the front door of a busy Guildford day care centre packed with kids
Children at a daycare center in Sydney’s west escaped injury when a runaway car crashed into the building’s entrance on Friday morning.
The red 2023 Toyota LandCruiser Prado plowed through the walls and front door of Kids World Kindy on Palmer Street in Guildford at around 10.15am.
But amazingly, no one in the building or car was injured in the incident.
Staff and children were evacuated from the badly damaged building through a rear exit, while emergency services attended to the female driver in the center’s car park.
Concerned parents flocked to the center to pick up their children after the accident, but were relieved to find everyone had escaped unharmed.
“The kids are doing well, they’re all nice,” said one parent. “They’re all good.”
