Toyota Fortuner of BJP president JP Nadda’s wife stolen in Delhi

A car linked to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda was stolen from Southeast Delhi’s Govindpuri area on March 19, NDTV reported. The car in question belonged to Nadda’s wife, Mallika Nadda, and had been taken for maintenance when the incident occurred.

According to the report, the vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, was taken to Govinpuri by driver Joginder after servicing. The incident took place between 3pm and 4pm when Joginder stopped at his house, the report said.

According to authorities, CCTV footage collected from the spot showed that the stolen car was heading towards Gurugram. However, they have not been able to trace it yet.

The vehicle had a Himachal Pradesh registration number.

The seven-seater Toyota Fortuner is a popular Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) in India. Touted as a luxurious model, its cost is estimated to range between Rs 33 lakh and 51 lakh.

Authorities are doing their best to recover the stolen car, they said.

Who is Mallika Nadda?

Mallika Nadda is the head of ‘Special Olympics Bharat’, a national sports federation registered in 2001 under the Indian Trust Act 1882.
