In an interview with The MirrorCharlie said: ‘I probably wasn’t strong enough to have a career that was so image-based. Obviously I’m older now and I’ve made a few mistakes, but I’m trying to turn those mistakes into something positive and lead by example.
‘There’s all this glittering light about being famous. You see the influencer lifestyle or you see the reality TV lifestyle and you think it’s so glamorous, but there’s a really dark undertone to it – there’s no denying that.’
