TOWIE star Lauren Goodger ‘begged’ by friends not to get back together with ex Charles Drury’

Lauren Goodger has been ‘begged’ by her friends not to ‘get back together with her ex Charles Drury after he reportedly spent the night at her house this week.

The former TOWIE star, 36, has been in a tumultuous relationship with her builder ex-boyfriend Charles, 25, and has been on and off since they miscarried their second daughter, Lorena.

On Monday, the couple seemed to be hitting it off as they took their little boy Larose to Woburn Safari Park, taking turns taking photos.

It comes months after Lauren was allegedly assaulted on the day of the funeral. Charles, who has denied attacking Lauren, was later arrested and released on bail.

But now, Lauren’s friends have reportedly been concerned about the two getting back together after he slept over at her house this week.

A source revealed to Sun: ‘Lauren’s friends begged her not to get back together with her ex Charles Drury after hearing that Charles had spent the night at her house this week.

“Some of them reached out to her and told her to stay away from him because they feel he is bad news and will only bring her more pain.”

“Lauren insisted that he only slept in the guest room and that they are working on co-parenting Larose, but those closest to her know that she and Charles are growing closer.”

“They feel like it’s just a matter of time before they get back together.”

A representative for Lauren told MailOnline: ‘Lauren focuses on wellbeing as the mother of her daughter; this puts co-parenting at the top of her priorities.’

When the couple arrived at Woburn Safari Park on Monday, they were seen hugging and playing with their young daughter as they climbed out of the back of a safari vehicle as they made the most of the park’s views.

It comes after Lauren revealed that she lost three stones in the wake of Lorena’s tragic death.

The heartbreaking pain Lauren experienced after Lorena’s death meant she was unable to eat, but she has turned to stone as her mental health has improved.

speaking to OK!, she said: ‘I lost almost three stones after losing Lorena due to stress. I didn’t eat. Now I’m eating again and I’ve got a stone again because I’m healthier.

“I stayed inside and didn’t come out, and now I feel like I’m in a better place mentally. This year it’s all about focusing on me and getting back on track.’

The television personality also said that her young daughter Larose has been a ‘rock’ to her and without her she would not have been able to survive Lorena’s death.

Elsewhere, Lauren recently opened up about her ‘hellish’ 2022 after the loss of Lorena and her bitter separation with Charles.

Speaking to MailOnline at The Inspiration Awards in London, Lauren reflected on the “massive trauma” she’s been through in the last 12 months.
