Police confirmed they are responding to a capsized boat at the Lockport Caves – a popular tourist attraction below the city in Niagara County. The incident occurred at 11:25 a.m., according to the Lockport Police Department.
Reports from emergency services on social media that ‘several people’ have been rescued from the water. Streets around the caves have been closed by emergency services.
The Eastern Niagara Health System confirmed they are treating four people with non-critical injuries, the report said WKBW.
