Tottenham vs Ferencvaros viewers are left fuming after TNT Sports blunder as fans claim it’s making Europa League clash ‘UNWATCHABLE’
TNT Sports viewers were left frustrated by the channel’s coverage of Tottenham’s Europa League match against Ferencvarosi.
Ange Postecoglou’s team headed to Budapest to face the Hungarian champions in the second round of the competition, after beating Qarabag 3-0 at home a week ago.
Their opponents have been a dominant force in their domestic league of late and were the better side early on, although Tottenham grew into the match and took the lead in the first half through Pape Matar Sarr.
The goal caused celebrations among the Spurs fans, but spectators were left frustrated by the goal due to a blunder by TNT Sports.
And it wasn’t just Tottenham supporters: viewers of the match took to social media to express their frustrations at the commentary apparently behind the photo shown.

Viewers took to social media to express their frustrations before the blunder was corrected
“The #Spurs match commentary on TNT Sports 1 is about 5 seconds behind the match,” a fan posted on X, formerly Twitter, tagging the broadcaster.
“Can you sort it out please it makes it unwatchable,” they added, accompanied by two angry face emojis.
Another viewer posted: ‘Anyone else leave comments on TNT Sports? It’s annoying.’
A third joked: ‘Sam Matterface is so far behind on commentary here on TNT sports Ledley King plays.’
Matterface provided commentary for the game, with TNT regular Glenn Hoddle on co-comms.
It was a big night of European action for the Premier League teams, with Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United all playing.
While Spurs traveled to Hungary, Chelsea hosted Gent and United faced Porto away from home.

The apparent delay in commentary was quickly resolved, but this did not stop viewers from expressing their frustrations online.
Another fan wrote: ‘Can just about live with TNT Sports not broadcasting European games in 4K, but I draw the line at the commentary being so far behind the video feed that Pochettino is still our manager.’
A fifth added: ‘Is anyone’s audio delayed on TNT Sports? Commentary and crowd noise,” and received 11 responses.
