Tottenham duo Cristian Romero and Richarlison have given an ultimatum about their future at the club had Antonio Conte remained in charge, according to reports in Argentina.

Argentine journalist Gaston Edul has claimed that Romero and Richarlison’s relationship with him reached a breaking point and that they considered leaving Spurs following the coach’s brutal criticism.
His shocking tirade is believed to have alienated several members of his team, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg urged Conte to be more “precise” with his comments.
And Edul told the Argentine television channel TyC Sports: ‘Conte’s relationship with the squad was very bad, it goes without saying, it’s something we could see in his words.

And he added: ‘Yes, I say that because we can say it, in fact we wait to say it. ‘Cristian Romero was rethinking his stay at the club if Conte stayed. As I understand it, the same thing happened with Richarlison.
‘Because he treated them very badly, not only face to face or in a private setting but also in public. Conte publicly criticized the players and this caused friction. But now Romero is going to stay at Tottenham, that’s the plan.
Edul is said to have a strong network of contacts in South America. with Romero coming from Argentina and Richarlison from Brazil.
Conte’s former assistant manager Cristian Stellini has taken over for the remainder of the season and will work alongside manager Ryan Mason.
It is unclear how the players feel about working with Conte’s former number 2, who may share similar views on the players.
Former Spain and Barcelona manager Luis Enrique appeared on Thursday to rule out a move to north London as the club searches for a new permanent manager for the summer.
