Tottenham REJECT approach from Swansea for Ange Postecoglou’s assistant Chris Davies as the Welsh club seek successor to sacked manager Michael Duff

Tottenham have rejected an approach from Swansea for assistant manager Chris Davies.

Swansea are looking for a new head coach following the sacking of Michael Duff earlier this week.

Davies, who is part of Ange Postecoglou's backroom team, is high on Swansea's list of candidates to replace Duff.

But Spurs, who play West Ham on Thursday evening, have rejected an initial approach from the Swans regarding Davies.
