Tottenham ‘reach an agreement with Manor Solomon’ as they move closer to free signing ex-Fulham mercenary despite his deal at Shakhtar running until December

  • Spurs have reportedly reached an agreement on Israeli star Manor Solomon
  • The 23-year-old was loaned to Fulham last season, but is now moving to Tottenham
  • Solomon will apparently undergo a medical with Spurs after agreeing on terms

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached an agreement with Israeli winger Manor Solomon as Ange Postecoglou looks to further strengthen his side in the transfer window.

Solomon impressed when he was loaned out to Fulham last season and it was suggested he move to Craven Cottage on a permanent contract.

However. Spurs jumped at the chance to snag a deal and a move is now in order, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The details of any deal for the 23-year-old would see him move to a new club on a free transfer, despite his Shakhtar Donetsk contract not expiring until December.

Under current FIFA rules, any player under contract with a Ukrainian club can extend their contract for another year.

The clause known as Schedule 7 means that Solomon can extend his deal past the current contract expiration date of December 31 and join a new suitor as a free agent.
