Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has reportedly been Chased by Serie A outfit Roma on loan as his future continues to look uncertain.
The 26-year-old has been out of favour under his manager Antonio Conte for some time and the club are looking to shift him this summer after the Italian boss failed to play him in any of the team’s first three games of the season.
Spurs have already offloaded four players who were on the fringes of the team this season – Steven Bergwijn to Ajax on a permanent deal, Joe Rodon (Rennes), Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli) and Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal) on loan deals.

The move – which would be a season-long-loan – would see him reunite with Jose Mourinho
Conte is still keen to find new clubs for Winks and left-back Sergio Reguilon, while defender Japhet Tanganga has held talks with AC Milan over a move.
Winks in particular will be desperate for more game time having made just 18 Premier League starts across the last two league seasons.
The England international is now being considered by Roma, according to La Repubblica, via Football Italia, in what would be a season-long loan deal that would reunite him with his former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho.
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Roma’s Serie A rivals Sampdoria are showing the biggest interest in Winks.
Mourinho didn’t warm to Winks during his 18 months in north London and the player also fell out of favour with him too – though Roma are in need of more depth in midfield after losing new signing Georginio Wijnaldum to a long-term injury.

The former Liverpool man suffered a fractured tibia in training and will now miss a lengthy chunk of the season.
Mourinho has had a busy summer at Roma, bringing in Wijnaldum from PSG on loan and also snapping up Paolo Dybala and Nemanja Matic on free transfers. Goalkeeper Mile Svilar and defender Zeki Celik have also arrived.
Winks will be keen to join a team where he can increase his playing time ahead of the World Cup in Qatar in November, though realistically he has a short window of time to impress Gareth Southgate – even if he starts playing more.
Winks is out of favour under manager Antonio Conte and will be keen for more game time
He started his career with Tottenham, having joined his local side aged five, and has gone on to make 203 appearances, scoring five goals.
Winks was a regular under former boss Mauricio Pochettino, who first integrated him into the squad, and his form led to an England call-up from Gareth Southgate in 2017.
He started the 2019 Champions League final against Liverpool, which Spurs lost 2-0, and would go on to pick up 10 caps for his country.
His career began to go on the slide when Pochettino was sacked in the 2019-20 campaign. He started 26 league games under successor Mourinho, but just nine times the following campaign.
