Tori Spelling is jealous of her mom Candy’s close relationship with Josh Flagg
As if she needs anything else to worry about, the beleaguered Tori Spelling is in a cut about her mom Candy getting so close to Million Dollar Listing star Josh Flagg — spitting him out as her daughter squeezes feels.
A friend of the Spelling family tells DailyMail.com that Candy, 77, has spoiled Flagg, 37, with trips abroad, lavish gifts and even letting him stay with her at a time when Tori is dealing with marital problems with husband Dean McDermott and is staying in a cheap motel with her children.
“Tori and Candy have had a difficult mother-daughter relationship for a long time,” the insider said. But with Tori feeling particularly vulnerable with cash tight and her relationship with Dean in limbo, she can’t help but envy the attention Candy is paying Josh.
‘He’s also her friend. But she resents the attention he receives and believes that he practically lives with her mother since he separated from his husband.
‘Let’s be honest. Tori is needy and so is Candy. Only their needs are not often intertwined.’

And he’s reportedly been staying at her home in LA since his divorce from husband Bobby Boyd.
The insider claims that Candy stopped giving Tori money and it strained their already delicate relationship.

And it looks like Tori, 50, could use her mom’s financial help.
DailyMail.com revealed that Tori checked into a Los Angeles-area motel — the Travel Inn — with her brood on Saturday amid marital problems with her 56-year-old husband of 18 years.
She was pictured leaving the humble lodgings – which is a stark contrast to her lavish life growing up in one of LA’s most expensive mansions with her kids; 16-year-old Liam, 15-year-old Stella, 11-year-old Hattie, 10-year-old Finn and six-year-old Beau.
DailyMail.com can reveal that the “roadside lodge” where Spelling and her five children spent the weekend is actually a shabby $83-a-night motel tucked away in an industrial area of Los Angeles, right across from a strip club.
Staff at the green-painted motel confirmed that the 90210 star had remained at the property, but said she checked in under an assumed name with no record of her stay under “Spelling” or “McDermott.”
Just last week, Candy told me TMZ that she supports her daughter through her marital problems.
The outlet caught the star as she left Hermes in Beverly Hills last week — accompanied by none other than Josh Flagg.
“I love my daughter and I support her in everything she does. I support my daughter, what can I tell you?’ Candy said.

Candy, who is reportedly worth more than $600 million, became estranged from her daughter after the death of Tori’s father Aaron Spelling in 2006.
After he died, it turned out that most of his estimated $500 million fortune would go to his widow.
Tori, whose struggles with finances have made headlines for years, only received $800,000 under the terms of her father’s will.
Additionally, Candy was critical of her daughter in an open letter she published in 2009 and the duo spoke openly about each other in their respective memoirs.
But that all seemed to be water under the bridge, as Tori revealed in October that she got along really well with her mom.
“We’ve had a great relationship… it’s like the next level right now. I’m really happy,” she said Jeff Lewis on his SiriusXM show.
And it was actually Flagg who helped them mend their fractured relationship after the reality star suggested they all get together.

“I hadn’t seen her since before COVID,” Tori said. And then Josh said, “Okay, we’re going to have a family dinner at her house.” So we went and had a great night.
She said they texted each other every day since then and got together often.
Tori wrote on Instagram about her first dinner date with Candy and brother Randy.
“This was a special moment in time. I don’t think the three of us {just the three of us} have gone out to dinner together in 20 years,” she wrote.
‘All to celebrate our mother! Happy Birthday @candyspelling!!!! @randyspelling and I love you so much! Such an iconic woman! Loved mom and grandma! I can’t wait to continue celebrating your birthday with you!’
