Tori Spelling heads to the beach with her five kids while staying at the RV park amid ‘money problems’ that forced the star to take a ‘budget’ family vacation

Tori Spelling was spotted on the beach with her five children on Tuesday as they continued their summer retreat at an RV park in Ventura County.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star, 50, recently split from her husband Dean McDermott, 56, and is facing rumors of “money problems” that left her with no choice but to go on a “budget” holiday.

Tori and her brood rolled to a beach close to where their rental RV is parked. The large vehicle could cost her between $100 and $250 per night for a vehicle large enough to sleep six people.

She shares 16-year-old Liam, 15-year-old Stella, 11-year-old Hattie, 10-year-old Finn, and six-year-old Beau with McDermott.

Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau helped their mom carry beach bags and a cooler while Liam focused on navigating the sandy terrain on crutches.

They chose a spot just far enough from the water to protect their belongings from getting wet.

Tori looked cheerful in a pair of denim shorts and a strapless black top that showed off her slender tummy.

Her blonde hair was worn down and she wore white RayBan sunglasses.

The actress – whose very wealthy mother Candy Spelling was recently criticized for allowing her daughter and grandchildren to stay in a motorhome – carried Beau in her arms as she walked through the sand.

She kept a close eye on her children.

Tori was also seen applying sunscreen to Finn, Beau and Hattie before venturing into the water.

Meanwhile, Stella and Finn were spotted taking a selfie together after climbing onto the roof of the camper.

Tori and her children stayed at a campground in Ventura County, California, earlier this month.

Rumors immediately began swirling that Tori had to get into the recreational vehicle full-time due to her financial problems.

However, several sources told Us Weekly and one told the media that the actress was just “trying to have a summer vacation with her kids on a budget that works for her.”

The insider went on to say that while Tori enjoys spending time with her kids in a posh environment, she decided to take her financial situation into consideration when planning her outing.

“Tori knows she’s going to turn heads with her down-glam vacation, but it’s also realistically all she can afford right now,” they said.

The source also stated that the performer, who was recently forced to leave her home after dealing with a fungal infection, was not staying in the recreational vehicle permanently.

Another insider noted that the actress was “trying to get away” from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles for the summer.

The insider added that Spelling was “looking for peace of mind for her and her children.”

The source went on to say that the actress was also having problems with her personal funds which had become more serious in the recent past.

“The truth is she’s not in a good financial position. She has not necessarily been financially conscious with her money over the years, considering the future of the family, and it is catching up to her,” they said.

The source also noted that the actress, as well as her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, had developed bad financial habits over the years.

They stated that during their time together, the former couple learned to “spend money like they’re never going to run out of it”.

Spelling and McDermott married in 2006 and welcomed their children over the next few years.

The couple subsequently received a lot of attention for their marital problems and the actor is said to have been unfaithful to his wife in 2013.

The couple also went through several periods of financial uncertainty during their marriage, and they owed American Airlines nearly $40,000 in 2016.

McDermott announced he was filing for divorce from Spelling last June in a quickly deleted Instagram post.

A source close to Tori recently told DailyMail.com that she is plotting a return to reality TV — more than a decade after her Oxygen show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood was canceled.

“Tori is currently between a rock and a hard place as she tries to figure out what her next job will be as she has some money issues,” the insider explained.

With the SAG-AFTRA strike going on, Tori wants to “do a little more in the world of reality competition shows.”

They claim Tori is desperate for “a more consistent cash flow,” she still wants to “be a mother first.”

“Planning is very important to her,” they continued. “As she tries to get on future shows, it should all work out perfectly with her family.

“She’s not desperate yet, but let’s see what happens in the next few months and what she should do to… make things work.”

They claimed that it is a dream of Tori to be in a season of Dancing With the Stars and that she also reads in talk to appear on the celebrity competition show.

“This could finally be the year she does the show. So many 90210 stars have done it, so she would have so much support from her former cast members,” the insider said.

The show would love her story and she would love the chance to tell her truth.

She feels like doing the show could open some doors for her towards the end of the year and into 2024.

“There have been talks to see what can be done, nothing official, but the outcome is that she will be on the dance floor.”
