Furious Everton fans are demanding that Frank Lampard be sacked as the club’s manager with the Blues firmly entrenched within the Premier League relegation zone following Saturday’s loss to West Ham.
Lampard’s time in charge of the Blues could end after their most recent disappointing defeat with heavy pressure on the Everton board to remove the Englishman from his post.
The Toffees’ record of never being relegated from the English top flight is in serious doubt as they have lost six of their last seven league games and show little sign of improvement.

Everton owner Farhad Moshiri and chairman Bill Kenwright have also been heavily criticized by supporters for poor recruitment, high managerial turnover and their handling of the club in recent seasons.
However, immediate scrutiny in the wake of their 11th league defeat of the season is mostly focused on Lampard with frustrated fans calling for a new manager to be appointed.
Lampard cut a downtrodden character on the bench against West Ham
Former professional boxer and passionate Everton fan Tony Bellow raged on social media after Saturday’s away defeat in the capital, writing: “Another fan packed away final!! Another poor display !!From top to bottom we are in shit and it’s really scary!Let’s be brutally honest, it’s not good enough…1 win in 14 games!
One supporter called for an imminent change, insisting that Lampard’s situation at Goodison Park has become ‘toxic’ and wrote: ‘Frank Lampard cannot continue at Everton. Give it to a new manager and allow him half a season to try to turn things around. The longer it stays, the more toxic it becomes.
Others suggested the 44-year-old already knows his fate after the defeat in the capital, stressing that Everton’s players are “not playing” for the manager or buying his vision.
Another tweet read: “I think Lampard will be out Monday lunchtime, the players clearly aren’t playing for him and several of them went straight into the tunnel and didn’t go to applaud the traveling fans.”
Some believe Lampard should have been removed from the Everton bench by now and labeled the decision for him to remain in charge ‘negligence by the board’.
If Everton sack the Englishman, it will mark a fourth successive management change in three years at the Merseyside club.
Former Burnley boss Sean Dyche has been hinted at as a potential replacement if Lampard leaves the Blues before the end of the season.
