Top Gear Australia host Beau Ryan’s daughter Remi, 11, follows in her father’s TV footsteps as she interviews Hollywood megastar Chris Hemsworth

Beau Ryan’s daughter has proven she’s following in his showbiz footsteps as she interviewed a major Hollywood megastar this week.

The 39-year-old Top Gear Australia presenter shared his pride in his 11-year-old daughter Remi’s impressive achievement via Instagram Stories on Saturday.

He revealed that Remi had been asked to interview Chris Hemsworth at a star-studded press conference in Sydney to promote his new blockbuster Transformers One.

Former NRL star Beau shared a photo of Remi looking confident and smiling alongside 41-year-old Australian actor Chris, who plays Optimus Prime in the new film.

In a caption, Beau revealed that Remi, who he shares with wife Kara Orrell, is already following in his TV footsteps at the age of 11.

“So proud of Rem. She was asked to interview Hemsworth and she hasn’t stopped smiling since,” he captioned the photo.

Beau also shared a video of Remi posing next to her devoted mother Kara, with Beau joking that she was only at the interview for “moral support.”

He then panned the camera around to show the panel behind them, where Remi, along with others, were asking the film’s biggest stars questions about the release.

A few days earlier, Beau and his wife Kara made a rare red carpet appearance with Remi and their seven-year-old son Jesse at the Australian premiere of Transformers One.

Chris starred in the animated Transformers prequel, alongside Scarlett Johansson, Jon Hamm and Brian Tyree Henry, among others.

TV star Beau met his wife Kara when they were just 16 years old and they started dating when he was 19, before finally tying the knot in 2012.

Last year, The Amazing Race opened up about his early romance with Kara and how she stuck by him despite his “screwed up” actions, in a heartfelt tribute.

“We loved, we fought, we broke up, we got back together. We screamed, we struggled. We thrived. We cried. We laughed. We were broken. We were healed,” he exulted in a Facebook post.

“I messed up, but she’s always been there. And I thank God every day for this woman. Nobody knows what we’ve been through. But she does. And I love that.

“Find that person and cherish them. Life is hard man, but if you do it with someone you would die for, then it’s worth it. Anything worth fighting for is worth it.”

In 2015, Beau was at the center of an alleged cheating scandal with former children’s entertainer Lauren Brant.

Neither has publicly responded to the allegations, but Beau did release a public statement to his wife Kara and family at the time, saying he wanted to “apologize to all the people who have been hurt recently.”
