Toowoomba, Queensland: Three killed, including two children, another fighting for life after horror crash

Three people, including two children, have died in a horror crash.

A ute and a sedan collided on the Dalby-Jandowae Road in Jimbour East, northwest of Toowoomba in Queensland’s Western Downs region, about 10.50am on Monday.

Five people were examined at the scene, four of whom suffered life-threatening injuries.

Queensland Police have confirmed three of the four people were killed, including two children and a man who were all traveling in the sedan.

A woman who was also in the sedan was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A ute and a sedan collided northwest of Toowoomba in Queensland’s Western Downs region at about 10.50am on Monday (emergency services are pictured at the scene).

The sole occupant of the ute was taken to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Motorists have been asked to avoid the area where the road will remain closed for several hours on Monday as investigations continue.
