Toowoomba: Tragedy as boy, 16, is killed after his quad bike rolled over

A teenage boy has tragically died after a quad bike accident.

Emergency services were called to a farm in Darling Heights, south of Toowoomba, about 1.30am on Sunday morning to reports of an ATV rollover.

On arrival they found the 16-year-old boy in a critical condition, who died at the scene despite the desperate efforts of paramedics.

The Forensic Crash Unit attended the scene while police prepared a report for the coroner, the Courier Mail reports.
