Toongabbie: Tragedy as one-year-old girl dies after she was struck by car in Sydney’s west
A girl has tragically died after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to Edna Ave in Toongabbie on Friday afternoon after reports a one-year-old child had been hit by a vehicle.
Officers who arrived on the scene determined that the toddler had been hit by an all-terrain vehicle.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics, but unfortunately lost her life.

The male driver was escorted from the scene by police for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been cordoned off and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
