Tony Armstrong prepares to ring in the new year with his new girlfriend Rona Glynn-McDonald by his side.

The couple were spotted arriving in Melbourne on Saturday and looked relaxed as they walked through the airport together.

ABC News Breakfast sports presenter Tony, 34, looked trendy in a statement black and white puffer jacket under an orange shirt and beige trousers.

The mustachioed former footy star completed his look with black leather boots and a baseball cap.

His musical partner, meanwhile, wore a quirky green jumper with the words 'Welcome To Darwin' and the image of a stork, layered over a multi-coloured blouse and black and white tracksuit bottoms.

Trying to fly under the radar, Rona shielded her eyes behind cat-eye sunglasses and wore a yellow bucket hat.

Tony debuted his relationship with Rona in late November with a series of photos shared to his Instagram account.

Speaking to Ny Breaking Australia at the 2023 TikTok Awards, Tony revealed that things are getting serious between the pair, and he's happy that the relationship has been embraced by his fans and followers.

“It's just nice that people know about it now,” Tony said.

'We've been together for a while. I'm happy. [Life] things have been going just fine lately.”

Rona is an incredibly talented Kaytetye woman who grew up in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) in Arrernte Country.

She works primarily with First Nations organizations to develop and advise on economic systems that assist Indigenous Australians.

As founder and CEO of Common Ground and director of First Nations Futures, Rona was also once director of First Nations at YLab.
