Tones and I suffers food delivery nightmare as she discovers a horrific find inside her salad – after revealing details of her onstage miscarriage
Tones and I had a food delivery nightmare this week after she received a very unexpected topping in her salad.
The Australian singer, whose real name is Toni Watson, treated herself to a salad via Uber Eats but was shocked to find a huge moth in her meal.
She shared a video of her seemingly normal-looking salad – consisting of lettuce, large tomato slices and cucumber – before zooming in to reveal the disgusting addition to the meal.
In a real-life kitchen nightmare, you saw a huge moth crawling over her food and poking at the lid of the plastic takeaway container as it tried to escape the jar.
“Let’s get Uber Eats tonight,” she sarcastically captioned a short video of her meal, which she left unopened after the gruesome discovery.
The stomach-churning discovery came just hours after she made a special visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital to perform for patients during her Beautifully Ordinary album tour Down Under.

She had performed a crowd-pleasing acoustic rendition of her 2021 hit, Fly Away, during an emotional performance at Children’s Hospital in Parkville.
For the show, Tones cut a stylish figure in a two-tone skirt and red T-shirt, which she styled with a pair of pink platform heels.
Tones shared a video of the performance on Instagram and talked about how she visits the hospital every year to perform a Christmas performance.
“In 2020, I asked if I could come over to meet the kids at Christmas,” she explained.
‘I’ve been coming back every year since then, a few months ago I got an email from them saying ‘Are you coming back this year? And this is how you create a beautiful tradition.
‘Now my great friend @a.eagle (Adrian Eagle) is joining me and it’s a really special day. Merry Christmas Angels.’
Tones also took the stage on the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House on Saturday evening and is now touring Tasmania for her concert at the Mystate Bank Arena on Saturday evening.
During her busy touring schedule, Tones also suffered a devastating personal heartbreak when she suffered a miscarriage just hours before the biggest performance of her career last month.
During her busy touring schedule, Tones also suffered a devastating personal heartbreak and shared details of the loss in an Instagram post in recent days.
In a heartbreaking post shared on November 27, the Cloudy Day hitmaker opened up about how she suffered a miscarriage just hours before she was due to take the stage for the biggest show of her career at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on November 9.
She said the tragedy occurred on stage during the final dress rehearsals of her show, in front of “30 choir, 30 dancers and 50 crew.”
‘I was at the point in the show where I just hit the big note in ‘to be loves’, the first song from my latest album, when I hit the big note I felt the blood rushing down my legs, usually an uncomfortable but manageable situation especially since this was a rehearsal and not a show, except… I was nine weeks pregnant,” she wrote.
‘I was almost 100% sure I was having a miscarriage the night before the biggest show of my career.
‘[My husband] Jimmy [Bedford] and I left rehearsals and we got to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. The pain started to kick in and after not sleeping that night I was told I was having a miscarriage.
‘I was told around 11am on the day of the show that the show would not be possible and that I would have to stay indoors and rest. I will in no way tolerate going against the doctor’s advice, but I would be lying if I did’ I don’t go straight to the creative team, the production crew, the dancers, the choir, the FANS.
‘I knew I couldn’t possibly let everyone down. So I promised I would come back and I left. I arrive at Rod Laver just in time for my meet & greets and the end of the sound check and the show.
Tones and I surprised fans when she announced last March that she had married Jimmy Bedford in a secret ceremony in Bali. Both shown
‘Off stage felt like a blur, but as soon as I stepped on stage I felt carried, it was unlike any show I have ever performed, I was lifted on and off stage by my family who knew nothing, I told three people that evening and let everyone else’s energy carry me through this moment, while I also don’t want to let this show pass me by.’
She revealed that she received further medical care after the show and many fans praised her bravery for speaking publicly about her devastating loss.
