Tommy Fury has shared a heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague after giving birth to their daughter Bambi.

The former Love Island stars, both 23, welcomed their first child into the world last week, and over the last day since the news broke they’ve also been telling fans about his unique name.

Writing to his 4.4 million followers on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, the boxer penned a touching message over a photo of the new mom fawning over her little girl lying in a baby hatch shortly after birth.

He wrote: ‘The best mummy in the whole world. Seeing how you care for Bambi makes me love you more than I knew I could.

You are everything I could have dreamed of for a mother and a role model for our perfect girl.

‘Thank you for making my dreams come true baby, I love you. @mollymae.’

He also posted a photo of himself with the adorable Bambi lying on his chest in a white onesie, captioning the moment: “Daddy’s girl.” Forever.’

Tommy’s sweet words come after new mom Molly disabled comments on her baby’s name post.

The Love Island star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a snap of her baby’s name in light-up letters overlooking her little girl in her crib, having previously admitted some fans would ‘hate’ it.

Molly-Mae shared an adorable image of her daughter snuggled up in her crib next to a Bambi toy, her name lit up in lights on the wall.

The name Bambi is of Italian origin and is believed to derive from the word ‘bambino’, which means ‘child’.

Molly-Mae had previously admitted that she always knew what she was going to name her daughter, adding that she knew some of her fans wouldn’t like it.

My name has been chosen since I was a child. It has always been a dream girl name and luckily when I met Tommy and told him the name I always dreamed of wearing, he loved it too.

‘It’s a really unusual and different name, I don’t know anyone else with the name. I haven’t seen any other girl with that name before, it’s just that different.
