Tommy Fury often prefers a cuddle to sex with Molly Mae Hague

‘No one wants to get hot and sweaty every night’: Tommy Fury said he often prefers ‘a kiss, a hug and a movie in bed’ to sex with Molly Mae Hague

Tommy Fury admitted that sometimes he would rather have a “kiss, a hug and a movie in bed” than sex with his long-term love Molly-Mae Hague.

The Love Island star and boxer dabbled in the topic of intimacy on Thursday in Loose Men, a spin-off of Loose Women.

Tommy, 24, said: ‘Nobody wants to be hot and sweaty every night, right? A good kiss and a hug. Sometimes watch a movie in bed. Sometimes that’s the better way.’

Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, 61, who is married to Wham star Shirlie, also 61, said: ‘I don’t think sex is the only thing and ends all relationships.

“More important than that is friendship.”

Promise: During the show, Tommy also talked about wanting to propose to Molly-Mae, 23, who he found love with on Love Island in 2019

During the show, Tommy said he wanted to propose to 23-year-old Molly-Mae, with whom he found love on Love Island in 2019.

They welcomed their daughter Bambi on January 23.

He said, ‘My actual plan was to [propose] much sooner, but of course as a boxer you have to shut yourself off completely when you are in a training camp and concentrate on the fight.

“So I can’t propose here, there, and everywhere. I’m going to do it soon guys, I really do, but it just takes some time!

The panel also discussed when is the right time to raise children in a relationship.

Martin said he and Shirlie talked about it “very early on” and said “you have to be on the same wavelength.”

He said Shirlie “went crazy about kids,” but believed she couldn’t have any because she has endometriosis, before falling pregnant on their wedding night in St. Lucia.

Discussing parenting, Tommy told the panel that he and Molly-Mae both knew early on that they wanted to be parents.

Honest: Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, 61, who is married to Wham star Shirlie, also 61, said: ‘I don’t think sex is the only thing and ends all relationships

He said, ‘It was on Love Island. It was quite early to be honest. Probably a week or two after that we had a test drive [during the Love Island baby challenge]. If you know, you know. I knew there and then.

‘We are on the same wavelength, we both wanted children quite young. We both love each other and the rest is history.’

On juggling parenthood and his boxing career, Tommy explained, “It’s a challenge. I’ve been through it before, with my last fight being very close to having the baby.

“I feel like having a baby gives me more motivation as a fighter, something to fight for when times get tough. She’s what I’m fighting for now, so it definitely spurred me on.”
