Tommy Fury has been mocked on social media for his performance at Soccer Aid on Sunday night.
The boxer lined up for Mauricio Pochettino’s World XI at Old Trafford on Sunday night but fans were unimpressed with the boxer’s performance.
Beating Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia in February earned Fury some new fans, but onlookers have taken to social media to criticize the 24-year-old after his latest performance.
User Nick Houlton suggested, “Tommy Fury is one of the worst football players I’ve ever seen!” after his first half show.
Another Twitter user took to the social media site to support this statement, as James asked, “Tommy Fury the worst player to ever kick a ball?”

With incoming Chelsea boss Pochettino his manager for the night, KP suggested that Poch’s new club want to sign the boxer.
“Chelsea just bid £90 million for Tommy Fury,” they joked.
Robert Bailey drew comparison, suggesting the 24-year-old made his opponent Chunkz ‘look like Ronaldo’ after his performance in the first 45 minutes.
Despite the criticism of Fury, his side were ahead at half-time when Usain Bolt scored at Old Trafford to give Pochettino’s men the lead of England at half-time.
The jokes didn’t stop at the halftime whistle though, as Keano added, ‘Tommy Fury runs like an npc’.
Ethan Frost put salt on the wound, tweeting, “Tommy Fury isn’t good at kicking a football.”
Another user concluded the memes with a photo of a dog wearing four boxing gloves, with the caption, “Tommy Fury playing soccer.”
It remains to be seen what the future holds for the boxer, who stated that he has not heard from Paul about a possible rematch in the future.
A potential opponent for the 24-year-old is Paul’s nemesis, KSI, who added to the insults on Twitter when he wrote: ‘Tommy Fury should stick to boxing lmao, he’s terrible at football’.
