Tommy Fury gained three stone in as many weeks after binging on £300 worth of cheesecake, pizzas, burgers and milkshakes after Jake Paul fight

Tommy Fury gained three stone in three weeks after fighting social media star Jake Paul in February this year.

Boxer and former Love Island winner Tommy, 24, went on a fast food binge, eating a £300 cheesecake after beating Jake in Saudi Arabia.

He also ordered pizzas, burgers and milkshakes to his hotel room as he enjoyed not having to train and limit himself for now, The Sunday Times he announced on his profile of Stil magazine.

TV personality Tommy, who struggled with depression and suffered a breakdown in 2015, says he tends to comfort eat when he’s feeling down.

He said The Sunday Times: ‘My favorite option when I’m upset are large Domino’s pizzas.

‘My logic – and it’s terrible – is that between fights I try to stuff as much c**p into my body as possible, so when I have to get back in shape I’m sick of junk food.’

Tommy’s fight with Jake was the result of a two-year feud on social media that only culminated in the third pop of the question.

Reality star Tommy had to pull out of two pre-arranged bouts and was bombarded with claims he feared fighting the seemingly less decorated boxer in Polo.

He claimed he had to pull out of dates with Jake due to legitimate injuries and visa reasons, but after finally proving himself right, the Mancunian was moved to tears as he was announced the winner.

Tommy is set to fight his rival KSI at the AO Arena in Manchester on October 14, after defeating YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.

And in the chat, he also revealed his dreams of moving into bodybuilding after his boxing career is over.

He told the publication that he was “obsessed” with the idea and that it would be his “next passion”.

Tommy explained that he needed to get “significantly bigger” including 20-inch arms, as he said, “I love it.”

It comes just after Tommy revealed earlier this week that Molly-Mae Hague hates boxing and praised her for supporting his career.

Tommy followed in the boxing footsteps of his brother Tyson, and Molly-May made no secret of her dislike of watching him in the ring.

Now, Tommy has further opened up about Molly-Mae’s dislike of the sport, revealing that she only ‘tolerates’ boxing because it makes him happy.

Tommy praised his fiancee for supporting his passion despite her “hating” herself.

He said further BBC Breakfast: ‘She watches the earth while I fight. She only tolerates boxing because she knows how much it makes me happy. That’s it.

“Besides, she hates it. He doesn’t like to talk about it, he doesn’t like to watch it, nothing, which I understand.’

Tommy admitted he understands how difficult it is for Molly-May to watch him – the father of their nine-month-old daughter Bambi – get pummeled in the ring.

“She watches her partner, the father of her baby, enter the ring, fight and punch,” he continued.

‘It’s not a nice feeling, so I commend her, I am.’

Molly-Mae has previously made no secret of her dislike of watching Tommy in the ring and stayed away from TV during his fight with Jake in February.

While at the time the cutie cried when she heard about his win, new mum Molly-Mae couldn’t bear to watch Tommy in the ring.

She remained in the UK with their newborn daughter Bambi, who had been born just weeks earlier, while Tommy traveled to his long-awaited showdown with Jake.

Ali did not watch the fight on TV and her sister Zoe shared a video of her hiding in her bedroom as her family and friends watched the confrontation.

Speaking last year after watching Tommy take on Daniel Bocianski, Molly-May admitted it was “terrifying” to watch her partner get pummeled in the ring.

“I don’t actually watch it – I watch the screen, it’s my way of dealing with it,” she told BT Sport at the time.

“Watching him in the flesh is much more difficult. I watch it on the screen and it relieves a bit of stress, but I have fingernail marks on my hand where they dug in.’

‘It’s just horrible. I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy honestly. The fear of seeing your person in the ring is not nice. It really isn’t,” she added.
