Tommy Fury has praised his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague for being an “incredible mother”, admitting she had a “rough start” as he had been through training camp.
The 23-year-old former Love Island star returned home to the UK on Monday following his victorious boxing match against Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia, while his daughter Bambi was born in late January.
He went on to reveal, however, that he would be up for a rematch after the 26-year-old YouTuber publicly challenged him to another fight.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Thursday wearing a cast over his left eyebrow, Tommy said: “Emotions were running so high because of everything I’ve been through in the last three years.”
‘Everyone said that I was not going to do it and that I did not want to do it. I came out against all odds and came out victorious.’

‘Jake Paul is a good guy at the end of the day and you have to do what you can to sell a fight, he went in there to prove he could fight and he trained hard for it. Anyone who can do that is a force to be reckoned with.
‘A rematch is something I would do, it’s something I believe in. We only did 8 rounds. I’m ready to go out and do a rematch, I owe it to myself.
Tommy’s father, John, appeared to ask Jake to make good on his “All or Nothing” bet on his son, after the American bragged about winning $30 million from his loss.
And speaking about it on the news show, the reality star said: “I mean, at the end of the day, we shook hands, we’re just old-fashioned guys, so let’s see if she honors that or not.”
“It’s all fun and games at press conferences, isn’t it? But I’m from an old-fashioned family, so let’s see.”
I earned enough from it. I just want to support my family. Now I have a girl and I just want to make sure that she is happy.

Molly wasn’t watching the fight, she added: “I knew in the buildup that she would never be able to see it because of how scared she gets.”
‘She is an amazing mother, she had a rough start because I was in training camp. This victory and the fight were for the two of them.
Jake blamed an ‘illness’ and ‘arm injury’ for his split decision loss to Tommy and said he disagreed with the judges’ scorecards.
But Tommy responded by saying, ‘At the end of the day, he lost fairly. He didn’t look so ill when he flew, taking a private jet to London. He has to take the loss.
Despite Tommy’s win, his brother Tyson lost a £100,000 bet after backing his brother to beat the influencer before the final bell, and he didn’t.
When asked about it on the show, he quipped, “I have a fun phone call waiting for me.” It’s amazing, Tyson is the best. On my Sunday night that was my time to shine.
“All my life I told everyone that lightning can strike twice and that was my moment. I saw the look on Tyson’s face and he was proud. This is the beginning of my time now.’
Again?! He went on to reveal, however, that he would be up for a rematch after the 26-year-old YouTuber publicly challenged him to another fight.
On Wednesday, new dad Tommy revealed that his priority now is “much-needed family time,” after winning his boxing match against Jake over the weekend.
It comes after Molly-Mae admitted on Tuesday that the couple have had some “tough times recently behind closed doors” as the pre-fight pressure took a toll on family life.
Tommy said while reflecting on the fight: ‘So guys, I’ve landed back safely with the family. I just want to say a huge thank you to all the people who have sent me lovely messages, it means a lot to me.
‘Thank you to everyone who attended the fight, it wouldn’t have been the same without you. We did it, we did the job.
‘Now is the time for some much-needed family time! I can’t wait to see what options we have on the table next week, but until then guys take it easy.
He captioned the post: ‘Still on cloud 9. Can’t thank you guys enough for the love. It means the world to me’, along with a love heart emoji.
It comes after Molly-Mae celebrated her homecoming after she defeated Jake during their boxing match in Saudi Arabia.
The former Love Island star shared a snap of herself cradling her daughter Bambi after she decorated their house with balloons and a “Welcome Home Champ” sign.
Molly-Mae also posted an adorable black and white photo of her and Tommy together on the couch cradling their little one.
In a candid post, the influencer opened up about how proud she was of Tommy’s achievement and admitted that the couple have had some rough patches recently.
She said, ‘DAD AT HOME ✨ From day 1 of this fight that was mentioned two and a half years ago, I’ve stood behind this boy.
‘It was definitely not a straight or easy road, we had some really not-so-good days behind closed doors… but Sunday night made it all worth it.
‘The nice guy doesn’t always finish last, I’m so proud of you ❤️’.
Tommy defeated Jake Paul via split decision in Saudi Arabia, but it was not without drama and controversy.
Tommy was the legitimate winner in the end, with the judges scoring the fight 76-73, 76-73, 74-75 in his favor, but with a points deduction and a knockdown against his name, it was far from straightforward.
This feud between the former British Love Island contestant and an American who found fame via YouTube was the result of more than two years of social media warfare that culminated in a showdown only on the third question.
Tommy had to pull out of both previously staged contests and was bombarded with claims that he was afraid to fight the seemingly less decorated boxer in Paul.
The star has always maintained that she had to pull out of her dates with Paul for legitimate injuries and visa-related reasons.
Not surprisingly, after finally being able to prove himself right, the Mancunian was moved to tears when victory was announced to him.
At the end of the contest, Tommy raised his hand and it didn’t look like Jake was going to dispute that too much.
The pair shared another enjoyable moment there as Tommy shed tears after winning.
Molly-Mae stayed home with the duo’s month-old baby, to whom Fury dedicated his win on Sunday.
His daughter’s name was also put on his trunks for the fight.
