Tommy Dorfman quietly married girlfriend Elise Williams in a private concierge service ceremony in Los Angeles in late 2023.

The 13 Reasons Why star, 31, opened up about eloping with partner of three years Elise in a new Instagram post and in an essay for Fashion on Thursday.

Dorfman — who came out as a transgender woman in July 2021 — and Williams met on dating app Hinge in 2021, and got engaged two months after dating.

Dorfman also shared a joint post with Vogue showing off the two sets of wedding gowns the couple wore during their elopement and the photo shoot that followed.

“I married my best friend and didn’t tell anyone except @hunterabrams who came to photograph us late last year,” Dorfman wrote on her social media.

“We bought our own dresses @doverstreetmarketnewyork, where I worked before I got into acting, and it was perfect,” the star added.

‘A few weeks ago we decided to say let’s celebrate this our way so we have something for @voguemagazine and @vogueweddings because we love each other and the world should know!!!! OK???!

Dorfman added, “And if you’re mean to her, I will [knife emoji].’

Meanwhile, in her essay for Vogue, she shared that Elise is a private person who still doesn’t follow her on Instagram, and discussed how they acted quickly after meeting.

‘We got engaged two months after dating. To our credit, we waited twelve months before moving in together, so you can’t say we’re U-Hauled (although you could say that taking in a Great Dane puppy after six months is a bit irresponsible used to be).’

“That’s the point of falling in love, though; your responsibility barometer isn’t always where it should be. For us, love required that sickening combination of naivete, delusion, and fate.”

Dorfman went on to say that Elise didn’t want a big wedding, and the couple bought their “folklore-coded” dresses off the rack at Dover Street Market.

‘She fell in love with a Cecile Bahnsen set, and I fell in love with a Simone Rocha song. Ready-made, no customization, just right.’

Her relationship with Williams came a year after her 2021 divorce from husband Peter Zurkuhlen, 36.

The former couple married in 2016 before Zurkuhlen filed for divorce from Dorfman in early 2022, six months after she announced her transition in July 2021.

After their split, Dorfman shared that she decided to date women.

“I knew I was interested in women in a way that I hadn’t really been aware of since high school,” she told Bilson.

“I had this unresolved, unexplored thing. I was like, “This is the year I go on dates with girls and feel that again, and not be ashamed of it.”

In 2022, she shared in a TikTok video documenting her fluid sexuality, saying she “went from a straight boy to a gay boy to a non-binary person to a trans straight woman – I thought – to I think I’m a trans lesbian.’
