The Dancing with the Stars contestant appeared on Scheana Shay’s podcast and explained that she wouldn’t overindulge by making rash decisions.

“I’ve never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away. I take care of myself,” she explained.

“A lot of people on the internet seem to think I’m bringing in money right now. “I have a lot of places that money has to go before I get it,” she continued.

Despite living with Sandoval, the actress made it clear that she keeps their interactions to a minimum.

“I have a pretty decent setup,” she said. “My room is a bit like my little apartment… I stay in my own little zone.”

Madix revealed that she keeps her door “locked just in case” and sleeps easier at night and doesn’t worry when he comes through the door.”

“Yes, we’re in the same house, but I don’t have to think about (him),” the former bartender told listeners.
