Tom Sandoval began to hyperventilate as the seriousness of his months-long affair with Raquel Leviss kicked in during a one-on-one with Lisa Vanderpump.
In a teaser for the season 10 finale obtained by PEOPLESandoval recalled his last conversation with “angry” ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, 37, and insisted he never intended to hurt her.
The Vanderpump Rules star, 39, also claimed that he and Leviss, 28, had every intention of confessing to Madix ahead of the reunion, but never got the chance.
Vanderpump, 62, was in sheer shock at the betrayal, telling Sandoval: “I’ve heard so much [about the affair] to be honest, I don’t understand much of it.’
She couldn’t help but notice that he had not only cheated on Madix, but also with one of her best friends.

“I never meant to hurt her. Ariana already has trouble trusting people,” Tom explained.
Lisa fired back, “Well, what is she going to have now? I mean, this isn’t a familiar place if you’re sleeping with one of her best friends.’
Sandoval, clearly agitated, took a deep breath and reluctantly acknowledged his own hypocrisy.
“Raquel and I were planning to tell Ariana before the reunion,” he insisted to Vanderpump.
“There’s no way we can feel human — either of us — when Ariana defends Raquel and me.”
The teaser harkens back to a scene in Season 10 in which Madix actively stopped rumors of an affair in September 2022, insisting that she “trusted” her then-boyfriend.
She also gushed about Leviss, calling her one of her “best friends.”
Referring to the scene, Vanderpump said the moment “looks awful in hindsight” since they were ultimately true.
Sandoval told the restaurateur he wishes he could “have a conversation” with Madix “when she’s not so mad at me.”
“But maybe I’ll never get that chance . . . which will kill me,” Sandoval continued.
The realization made him burst into tears.
A sympathetic looking Vanderpump urged him to “take a minute” as he continued to sob with his face in his hands.

Hyperventilating, Sandoval quickly rose from his seat across from Vanderpump and repeatedly yelled “Oh God, oh God!”
He pressed against a window and continued his dramatic display.
“You need to calm down,” Vanderpump said before standing up to hug her co-star.
“It will get better from now on. It’s all been too much, I know,’ she assured him.
The season 10 season finale of Vanderpump Rules will air on Wednesday, May 17and fans will learn about the sordid details of the affair between Sandoval and Leviss.
Also in the trailer was the moment when Madix shocked friends Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney by revealing that Sandoval admitted to having sex with Leviss in his car.
At the time of the sexual encounter, Madix was mourning the death of her dog Charlotte.
She also relived the moment when she discovered an intimate recording of a FaceTime conversation between Sandoval and Levis, saved on his cell phone.
‘Then I called Raquel and I started, make her like this, f***ing tell me what the f***? When did this start?” Ariana recalls.
She said, “Right after the girls’ outing.” I’m like, “You mean right after Charlotte died?”

It was revealed on Wednesday that contract negotiations for the Vanderpump Rules cast have been paused in the wake of Scandoval.
So said executive producer Alex Baskin Variety that he and fellow executives think it would be best for the cast to take time off the show after taping the explosive reunion special.
“I thought we should have cameras on it right away. And I now think we need a minute,” he explained on Wednesday.

The first episode of the three-part reunion airs May 24, and Baskin teased that “new information” — unknown to fans and much of the cast — will be revealed.
Due to the “revelations” of the bombshell, Baskin predicts the cast will likely need “a little space” from each other to process their emotions.
“The reunion isn’t just a recap of what you know, and it’s not just an intense version of the emotions,” the producer revealed.
“I’ll put it this way: there are revelations, and they are revelations that they don’t all know now. So we need some space.’
Baskin also stated that he wants the cast members to watch the entire reunion before deciding whether or not to return to the Vanderpump rules.
Andy Cohen served as a mediator during the reunion — which reportedly resulted in screaming matches between the cast and an alleged brawl between Sandoval and Tom Schwartz.
In a teaser trailer for the hit Bravo series, Madix called out her now-ex, Sandoval, 39, and berated Leviss for being “devilish, demented and inhuman.”
Leviss, 28, had admitted that having an affair with her close friend’s boyfriend of nearly a decade was “super selfish.”
In response, Madix quickly clapped back and said, “Selfish doesn’t cut it.”
For the rest of the trailer, Madix and the rest of the cast fired no shortage of insults at Sandoval and his mistress.
In the preview, Madix also called her ex and his on-again, off-again lover “f***ing rats” and told them not to expect “something good to come for them.”

In the episode, James Kennedy, 31 – who was previously engaged to Leviss – also called Sandoval a “conniving whore” for sleeping with his ex-fiancée.
After an explosive back-and-forth, Kennedy then fired back at Sandoval, calling him “a worm with a mustache” — which fans quickly took to social media to turn into memes.
The first part of the reunion will air on Wednesday, May 24, then part two on Wednesday, May 31 and Wednesday, June 7.
After two months of backlash, it was reported that Sandoval and his much younger mistress called it quits.
