Tom Sandoval accuses his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix, from whom he divorced last year after almost ten years because of his infidelity, of being ‘petty’.
Two weeks after filing a lawsuit to put their Valley Village home, which they bought together in 2019, on the market, the Vanderpump Rules star revealed that the 38-year-old actress had rejected his apparently fair offer for the property turned down.
“Ariana is making it clear that me wanting to keep the house is a psychopath move, but it’s not,” the 40-year-old singer said on Nick Viall’s The Viall files podcast.
He explained, “She says, ‘Oh, he made me an offer. I gave her an offer of $3.1 million. We bought our house for $2.05 (million). … I made her an offer to buy her out.”

Sandoval further claimed that Madix, who stars as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, “hasn’t paid a single bill on this house in eight months” and hasn’t lived in their house for “two or three months.”
“She’s petty and doesn’t want me to have the house,” he claimed. “That’s the small (move). “I’m breaking up with you, and I don’t want anyone to get (it).”
The TV personality added: It’s (like) flipping the Monopoly board. That is it. It’s like, “I’m losing at Monopoly, so I’m going to flip the Monopoly board.” That’s what it is.’
According to documents obtained by DailyMail.com earlier this month, the former couple is at odds over how to split the property.
The lawsuit said Madix wants a “division by sale,” which essentially means she wants a judge to order them to sell the house to split the proceeds.
What she is fighting is a “partition in kind,” which would allow each of them to retain their ownership interest in the property, which could theoretically result in one of them selling to a third party.
Last spring, their nine-year relationship ended with “Scandoval,” with Sandoval becoming involved in an affair with her 29-year-old girlfriend Raquel Leviss (now Rachel).
Earlier this month, she told People she was “really motivated” to vacate the home, which was co-owned by her ex-partner.
Two weeks after filing a lawsuit to put their Valley Village home, which they bought together for $2 million in 2019, on the market, the Vanderpump Rules star revealed she rejected his fair offer on the property.
“She’s petty and doesn’t want me to have the house,” he claimed. “That’s the small (move). ‘I’m breaking up with you, and I don’t want anyone to have (it)’ (Madix pictured in November 2023)
She explained that she wants to “completely move away from being tied to that property and any other connection to Sandoval.”
‘I’m ready. I want to own my own house,” she told the outlet.
Their sprawling property has five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
During his conversation with Viall, Sandoval said he “loved” Madix, but accused her of talking down to him “throughout” their relationship.
“It’s a shame that my way of reacting to that was: I also like to be belittled, belittled, belittled all the time,” he said.
The reality star said he “acted out” and was unfaithful because of his “low self-esteem.”
“Someone like Raquel – someone in their 20s doing the bikini thing with whipped cream – I thought, ‘Wow. I’m attracted to someone,” he admitted.
Still, Sandoval said, “I loved Ariana. I really did. And the whole process of breaking up with her took four months.”
The couple had purchased the home in the greater LA area for about $2 million in 2019
She previously defended their uncomfortable living arrangement on Bethenny Frankel’s Just B podcast.
The reality star stated that she won’t “ruin” herself by making rash decisions.
“I’ve never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away,” she explained. ‘I take care of myself.’
The TV personality went on to say that she is “not rich” and has a mortgage and other expenses.
“A lot of people on the internet seem to think I’m bringing in money right now. There are a lot of places that money has to go before I get it,” she continued.
Despite living with Sandoval, the actress made it clear that she keeps their interactions to a minimum.
Open book: The Buying Back My Daughter star previously explained why she hasn’t moved out in the comments section of one of her Instagram posts
“I am living in my home that I own while working with my attorney and financial advisors to find the best path forward before I uproot my dog and my elderly cat and cause even more trauma for the three of us,” she told a follower ( Madix and Sandoval’s dogs pictured above)
“I have a pretty decent setup,” she said. “My room is a bit like my little apartment… I stay in my own little zone.”
Additionally, Madix said she keeps her door “locked just in case” and sleeps easier at night and doesn’t worry when he comes through the door.”
“Yes, we are in the same house, but I don’t have to think about (him),” the former bartender told listeners.
