Tom Parker’s Widow Kelsey Reveals The Wanted Star Had The Same Lunch Every Day

Tom Parker’s widow, Kelsey, remembered her late husband, revealing that she would eat the same food for lunch every day.

Kelsey, 32, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share that she was remodeling the house she shared with The Wanted star.

Tom lost his life in March of last year at the age of 33, after a year and a half long battle with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer.

Memories: Tom Parker’s widow, Kelsey, reminisced about her late husband, revealing that she would eat the same food for lunch every day.

Reflecting on her memories of Tom with her older brother Sam, she revealed that he ate beans and toast for lunch every day and admitted that she ‘missed’ him.

‘[Tom] I used to always have the exact same lunch every day. Tom would have jacket, cheese and beans, or beans on toast with cheese,’ he explained.

In fact, he would be very offended if you were to eat something else at lunchtime that wasn’t appropriate for lunch.

“I was so focused that you had to have breakfast, lunch and dinner and there was fixed food that you could eat at those times. It’s just remembering and talking about him, you miss him a lot.

Kelsey also shared that her brother is helping her renovate their house, something she said she and Tom always planned to do but couldn’t when he got sick.

Kelsey, who shares children Aurelia, three, and Bodhi, two, with Tom, admitted it’s been “difficult” making big decisions without her late husband, but said she still has their text messages with their thoughts on the remodel.

She said: ‘It’s actually been quite a difficult thing to do because obviously what’s really difficult is making decisions without him. When you’re in a relationship, I was guided by what Tom would say about things.

“I probably would have made the ultimate decision, but you always have your partner to lean on.” But what’s really nice is that I have all the messages from Tom about what he wanted to do with the room.

She added: ‘You know why I’m so excited? To get rid of the black carpet. Black carpet and blond hair are not for you!’

It comes after Kelsey emotionally revealed how she is consumed with “guilt” for not being able to “save” her late husband Tom in the midst of his battle with brain cancer.

In the final episode of her show Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom, Kelsey addressed a therapy session, in which she admitted that it will take her “years and years to get over” her guilt.

Reflecting on life without her husband, her therapist asked Kelsey how she felt emotionally, and the widow commented that she couldn’t shake the feeling that she couldn’t stop Tom from dying.

‘It will take years and years to get over the guilt that I couldn’t save him. But I know in my heart of hearts that I did everything I could.

The therapist went on to ask her what she hoped for in the future, and Kelsey replied that she just wants to be happy, though she admitted that she needs to find herself again after two years spent caring for her husband during his illness.

She explained that she “missed herself completely” while caring for Tom for two years and then after he died, “she was left to pick up the pieces”.

Kelsey, who recently recounted how Christmas was “tougher than I expected,” added that she feels like she’s on a “massive journey to find out who I am” after Tom’s death.

Reflecting on the therapy session afterward, Kelsey said, “It’s nice to talk about the future, but the future is hard for me.”

‘Right now I want to get rid of the pain and feel happiness, but I know that happiness is something that I may not have right now. This is hard, this thing I’m living with is endless, it’s endless pain. Pain is just a strange, strange thing.
