Sharing an update on Instagram on Sunday, the children were seen proudly holding up Father’s Day cards.
She explained: “Today is a difficult day for many. Look at this picture of happiness, you would never think that these happy, proud children would never in a million years grow up without their father, the most heartbreaking situation for me and my family, like so many others across the country.”
Kelsey continued: Father’s Day will never be the same without you, life will never be the same without you Tom.
“I need you so much right now because I’m facing big (and small every day) decisions about Rae and Bo and their future and I just want to know what you might think and what you want me to do.
“Please continue to guide us. I am so grateful for every little sign and to know that these children are so loved by all of us. I know you never leave their side. We celebrate you and all the fathers who deserve to be celebrated today.
‘Today it’s all about you Tom. Our annual charity football match held entirely in your name and in your honour. Thank you to our celebrity players, Scott, our MC and everyone who has worked hard over the last few months to plan this hugely important charity event.
‘To everyone who came to support us today: thank you very much. It is extremely important to us to make this event a great success. We want Tommy to feel our love on this special day.
Kelsey has said that their young children, Aurelia, four, and Bodhi, three, still make Father’s Day cards for him

“So let’s bring the joy, the love and the generosity. We have many children and families affected by brain tumors today and we want to make it special for them and raise a lot of money to help beat this terrible disease.
‘We hope we make you proud Tom. Happy Father’s Day to the best dad. You may not have had the chance to kick a ball with Bodhi and I will never understand how or why that opportunity was taken away from us, but I remain focused on the fact that you will be watching the boy’s every game. ever plays and you will sprinkle your gold dust on him every time.’
She added in an interview with The Mirror: ‘Heading up to Father’s Day it’s tough. Their teachers asked me, “Can I make cards in class?” and I said, ‘Yes, we will celebrate their father.’
Kelsey added, “We put their Father’s Day cards aside and look at them, just the same as we do on Mother’s Day.”
