Tom Holland Reveals He Gets More Compliments For THAT Viral Rihanna Lip-Sync Routine Than Any Of His Other Acting Roles
Tom Holland has revealed that despite his stellar acting career, he still receives most of the praise for the iconic lip-syncing of the Rihanna hit Umbrella.
The 27-year-old Spiderman star became a viral sensation when he donned a corset and wig in 2017 to perform the 2007 song on Lip Sync Battle.
In an interview with The Hollywood ReporterTom admitted that he gets compliments on the sensational performance, and he wasn’t impressed with the controversy that could arise if he donned the sassy look.
He said: ‘It’s an interesting one because I’ve worked really hard in my career and I’m really calculated to decide what I do and when I do it.
“And of all the movies I’m incredibly proud of, I get the most compliments for the Lip Sync Battle.”

The actor added: ‘I don’t give a f**k. I grew up in the most non-toxic masculine environment possible.
“I didn’t realize what I was doing was so progressive. I was like, ‘Yeah, damn it, I’ll put on some fishnets and dance in the rain. That will be really fun. I do not give a hoot”.’
Since appearing in Lip Sync battles, Tom has gained worldwide fame for his role as Spiderman, and has also appeared in Apple TV+’s Uncharted and The Crowded Room.
During the interview, Tom also gave a rare insight into his relationship with girlfriend Zendaya and revealed the sweet secret lessons he has taught her.
The star discussed his great love of ‘golf, rugby, football, cricket and tennis’ and even revealed that he has given Zendaya a coaching session.
It comes after Tom confirmed he’s been eight months into his year-long acting hiatus to recover from his latest project as a rapist in The Crowded Room.
The British actor, who stars in the new AppleTV miniseries starring Amanda Seyfried, revealed that the psychological thriller took a toll on his mind.
After a busy two years of also helming the blockbuster films Spider-Man: No Way Home and Uncharted, Tom decided to step back from the limelight.

In a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and MarkTom clarified that he’s actually been on his hiatus for a while, despite rumors that it hasn’t started yet.
He explained how people thought he was taking a year off because of the bad reviews when The Crowded Room came out.
He said, “I’m off eight months into my year. I chilled at home in London, went to Grand Prix, played golf.’
In an interview with ExtraTVTom said that after working on The Crowded Room, “I’m now taking a year off, and that’s a result of how hard this show was.”
He added, “I’m excited to see how it turns out, and I feel like our hard work hasn’t been in vain.”
