Tom Holland reportedly received Zendaya’s father Kazembe Ajamu Coleman’s blessing months before he proposed to the actress.
TMZ reports that Holland, 28, was eager to receive Coleman’s proposal before dropping to one knee.
Holland, who was described by the outlet as very traditional, was committed to obtaining consent prior to the proposal and is said to have met with Coleman “months ago.”

The actor got down on one knee “in a very intimate setting at one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States,” the site said.
