Tom Hanks appeared to be involved in a heated argument with an employee on Tuesday as he walked the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie Asteroid City at France’s Cannes Film Festival.
The actor, 66, held out his finger with a very furrowed forehead as he stood next to his wife Rita Wilson, also 66.
Actress and producer Rita, who also stars in the film, was seen talking to the member of the festival team while holding out her hand.
The member of staff was seen speaking to the couple as he appeared to try to calm the situation down.
However, Tom seemed to remain miffed as the trio spoke before walking down the red carpet to pose for photos at the event.

Tom looked smart as he wore a black tuxedo and matching bow tie which he paired with a nice white shirt for the premiere.
His partner Rita looked glamorous in a chic black dress with a long black cloak trailing on the floor behind her.
The garment was adorned with silver jewels that shimmered under the spotlights on the red carpet.
Both Tom and Rita seemed in good spirits as they posed for photos before heading inside to watch the movie.
The film, a coming-of-age movie about stargazing in the desert, is directed by quirky filmmaker Wes Anderson.
Asteroid City is set in the 1950s in a fictional American desert town that has an eerie feel to it.
At a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention designed to unite students and parents in scientific competition, things go haywire when a world event takes place.

The story revolves around a widower played by Jason Schwartzman who takes his four children to their grandfather, played by Hanks.
“In my loneliness, I’ve learned to trust the people I love completely and unconditionally,” Hanks’s character tells Schwartzman. “I don’t know if that includes you, but my daughter and your four children are.”
Their car breaks down, so they take it to Asteroid City to be repaired.
His son, played by Jake Ryan, is fascinated with the town’s annual junior stargazer game.
Soon the family is drawn to the strange city where aliens are feared.

Also in the film are Tom’s wife Rita Wilson and Tilda Swinton, Matt Dillon, Bryan Cranston, Ed Norton, Adrien Brody and Liev Schreiber rounding out the cast.
Hope Davis, Stephen Park and Rupert Friend also make an appearance.
And Maya Hawke, the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, plays a role in the unusual film.
Steve Carell, Willem Dafoe, Tony Revolori, Grace Edwards, Aristou Meehan, Sophia Lillis, Ethan Lee and Jeff Goldblum are also in attendance.
